Reading:
Your child will have daily reading homework. This is the book that your child read in his or her guided reading group. Have your child read the story to you. Remember to give specific praise as you listen. "I noticed you..." Also be sure to ask questions about the story to help build comprehension. Use the literacy files that are attached under the activities for home tab. Please make sure your child returns the book to very school the next day. Your child will then add the book to his or her fluency reading book box.

Homework Calendar:
Your child will have a monthly homework calendar. This calendar will cover all subject areas. It will be sent home in your child's BEE book the beginning of each month. You can also find it here on our class site. Your child has all month to work in it. Please return it in your child's BEE book when your child completes it. I will accept it at any time throughout the month.
